आम का पेड़ और दो दोस्त (शिक्षाप्रद हिंदी कहानी) 

बहुत पुराने समय की बात है। दो दोस्त पानी के जहाज से समुद्री यात्रा कर रहे थे। अचानक से किसी कारणवश उनका जहाज दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो जाता है। दोनों दोस्त किसी भी तरह अपनी जान बचाकर तैरते हुए समुद्र के बीच एक टापू पर पहुँच जाते है। वह टापू विल्कुल सुनसान था न कोई जीव-जंतु, पेड़-पौधे कुछ भी नहीं था। उस टापू पर सिर्फ एक आम का पेड़ था जो वहुत ही विशाल था , बाकी वहां कुछ भी नहीं था। उस जगह को सुनसान होने के कारण वहां पर कोई आता जाता भी नहीं था। 

लेकिन उस पेड़ पर रसीले आम हमेशा लगे रहते थे। दोनों दोस्त भूख लगने पर आम खा लेते और धूप लगने पर उसकी छाया में सो जाते। उन्होंने सोने के लिए पत्तियों से विछावन भी बना लिया था, और उसी पेड़ के सहारे अपना जीवन जीने लगे।  दूसरा उनके पास कोई विकल्प भी नहीं था , वहां से निकलने के लिए।

कुछ समय बाद जब उन दोनों की वहां  रहने की आदत बन गई।  जब दोनों वहां का जीवन जीने की शैली में पूरी तरह लिप्त हो चुके थे, तो उन्होंने उस पेड़ की बुराई करना शुरू कर दिया। 

दोनों आपस में कई बार बात करते और कहते कि यह पेड़ कितना अभागा है। इसलिए यहाँ इसके शिवाय कोई नहीं है। यह वहुत दुष्ट पेड़ है।  इसे अकेले रहने की आदत पड़ी हुई है। यह किसी को आगे बढ़ता हुआ नहीं देखना चाहता इसीलिए यहाँ कोई आता जाता नहीं है। इसलिए इस टापू पर अकेले रहने का दण्ड दिया होगा भगवान ने। भगवान् इसके साथ सही कर रहे है। 

पेड़ उनकी बातें सुन रहा था। जब पेड़ रोजाना उनकी इस तरह की बाते सुनता तो वह भी धीरे धीरे निराश होने लगा। वह उनकी बातों से दुखी होने लगा और एक दिन पेड़ ने भी अपनी शक्तियों को धीरे धीरे कम करना शुरू कर दिया। उसके पत्ते पीले पड़ने लगे। उसने धीरे धीरे फल देना भी बंद कर दिया। एक दिन वह पेड़ पूरी तरह सूखकर एक डंठल बनकर रह गया। कुछ समय बाद खाने को कुछ न मिलने के कारण उन दोनों दोस्तों की भी मृत्यु हो गई। 

शिक्षा : दोस्तों इस कहानी से हमे यह शिक्षा मिलती है कि हमे किसी चीज,बस्तु, प्राणी की कीमत उसके खोने के बाद अच्छी तरह मालूम पड़ जाती है इसलिए हमे अपने जीवन में कभी किसी की भी बुराई , निंदा नहीं करनी चाहिए। हमेशा सबका उचित सम्मान करना चाहिए। पता नहीं हमे कब और किस स्थान पर किस समय किसकी जरुरत पड़ जाये।

Long time ago. Two friends were traveling by sea ship. Suddenly their ship crashes due to some reason. Both friends somehow save their lives and swim on an island in the middle of the sea. That island was completely deserted, there were no animals, trees and plants. There was only one mango tree on that island, which was huge, but there was nothing there. Due to the deserted place, no one used to visit there.

But juicy mangoes were always planted on that tree. Both friends ate mangoes when they were hungry and slept under its shade when it got sunny. They had also made an eavesdrop from the leaves to sleep, and started living their lives with the help of the same tree. Second, they had no choice but to leave.

After some time it became habit of both of them to stay there. When both of them had become fully involved in the style of living there, they started doing evil of that tree.

The two used to talk to each other many times and say how unfortunate this tree is. So there is no one here except this. This is a very evil tree. It has got used to being alone. It does not want to see anyone moving forward, so no one comes here. Therefore, God would have punished to be alone on this island. God is doing right with this.

The tree was listening to them. When the tree used to listen to such things every day, he slowly started getting frustrated. He began to be saddened by his words and one day the tree also started to gradually reduce his powers. His leaves turned yellow. He also stopped giving fruits slowly. One day the tree dried completely and became a stalk. After some time, the two friends also died due to lack of food.

Education: Friends, this story teaches us that we get to know the value of something, object, creature well after losing it, so we should never condemn anyone in our life. Everyone should always have proper respect. We do not know when and at what place, at what time it is required.
