"कलयुग का आगमन" एक पौराणिक रोचक कथा

पृथ्वी पर कलयुग का आगमन कैसे हुआ 

दोस्तों महाभारत युध्द जीतने के बाद पांडवों ने सारा राज्य परीक्षत को सौंप दिया। राजा परीक्षत वहुत ही धार्मिक और दयालु थे। बो राजधर्म को वहुत ही अच्छी तरह से निभा रहे थे। एक बार राजा परीक्षत शिकार के लिए जंगल में चले जाते है। वहां पर उनकी मुलाक़ात कलयुग से होती है। कलयुग राजा परीक्षत से कहता है। "हे राजन" अब पृथ्वी पर मेरे आने का समय निकट आ चुका है आप मुझे आज्ञा दे।

Friends, after winning the Mahabharata war, the Pandavas handed over the entire kingdom to the examination. King Parikshat was very religious and kind. He was playing Bo Rajdharma very well. Once the king goes into the forest for hunting. He meets Kalyug there. Kalyuga tells King Parikshat. "Hey Rajan" Now the time for my arrival on earth has come, you command me.

राजा परीक्षत यह सुनकर क्रोध में आकर कलयुग से बोलते है ,"हे कलयुग" सुन जब तक इस पृथ्वी पर पांडवों के वंश से जन्मा में राजा परीक्षत जीवित हूँ, तब तक तुम तो क्या तुम्हारी परछाई भी पृथ्वी का स्पर्श नहीं कर सकती ? इस तरह राजा परीक्षत ने अपनी तलबार निकाली, और बोले तू जंहा से आया है वही चला जा बरना मुझे तेरा वध करने पर विवश होना पड़ेगा।

Hearing this, King Parikshat speaks in anger and speaks to Kali Yuga, "O Kali Yuga", as long as Raja Parikshit is born on this earth born from the clan of Pandavas, till then can you not even touch the earth? In this way, King Parikshat took out his summons, and said that you have come from where I have to go, otherwise I will be forced to kill you. 

कलयुग राजा परीक्षत के क्रोध को देखकर उनके पैरों में गिर पड़ा ,और कहने लगा सारी पृथ्वी पर आपका राज्य है। पृथ्वी पर ऐसा कोई स्थान नहीं जंहा आपका राज्य नहीं हो, इसलिए राजन- मुझे रहने के लिए थोड़ा सा स्थान प्रदान करे। राजा परीक्षत कलयुग के प्रभाब को जानते थे। इसलिए उन्होंने पहले तो सीधे तौर पर मना कर दिया। कलयुग ने राजा परीक्षत को उनके वंशजों का हबाला देते हुए कहा ,मेने तो सुना है पांडव किसी को खाली हाथ नहीं लौटाते थे ,तुम मुझे थोड़ा सा स्थान भी नहीं दे सकते हो।?

Seeing the anger of Kalyuga King Parikshat fell into his feet, and started saying, "Your kingdom is on the whole earth." There is no place on earth where your kingdom is not, so Rajan- give me a little place to live. King Parikshat knew the glory of Kali Yuga. So, he refused outright at first. Kalyug gave a cry to his descendants to King Parikshat said, I have heard that the Pandavas did not return empty handed to anyone, you cannot even give me a little space.? 

मेने तो सुना है तुम धर्म का अनुसरण करने बाले राजा हो। इस तरह एक भिक्षुक समान मुझे खाली हाथ लौटाकर तुम अपने पूर्वजों की आत्माओं को दुःख पहुँचाना चाहते हो। में तुमसे पूरी पृथ्वी नहीं मांग रहा, बल्कि में तो थोड़ा सा स्थान मांग रहा हूँ। हे राजन तुम्हारी और तुम्हारे पूर्वजों की कीर्ति तो तीनों लोकों में है क्योकि तुम धर्मराज युधिष्ठर के कुल से हो । जो भी तुम्हारी शरण में आता है आप उस पर अपनी कृपा दृष्टि बनाये रखते है। 

I have heard that you are a king following religion. In this way you want to hurt the souls of your ancestors by returning me empty handed like a beggar. I am not asking you for the whole earth, but I am asking for a little space. O Rajan, the fame of you and your ancestors is in all the three worlds because you are from the clan of Dharmaraja Yudhishthra. Whoever comes to your shelter, you maintain your grace on him.

इस तरह कलयुग राजा परीक्षत को अपनी बातों के जाल में फंसा कर अपने लिए थोड़ा सा स्थान लेने में सफल हो गया। राजा ने कलयुग के सामने एक शर्त रखी कि तुम सिर्फ उसी के मन में स्थान पा सकते हो जिसमे "लोभ ,क्रोध ,झूठ और वासना" होगी। परन्तु इस पर कलयुग बोला -" हे राजन ,यह चार स्थान मेरे रहने के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं है ? कोई अन्य स्थान भी प्रदान कीजिए मुझे "!  इस मांग पर राजा परीक्षत ने कलयुग को स्वर्ण के रूप में पांचवा स्थान प्रदान किया। 

In this way, Kalyug succeeded in getting a little space for himself by implicating King Parikshat in the trap of his words. The king put a condition in front of the Kali Yuga that you can only find a place in his mind which will have "greed, anger, lies and lust". But Kali Yuga said on this - "O Rajan, these four places are not enough for me to stay? Provide me some other place too"! On this demand, King Parikshat gave Kaliyuga a fifth place in the form of gold.

स्वर्ण रूपी स्थान मिलते ही कलयुग ने राजा परीक्षत के सोने के मुकुट में अपना निवास स्थान बना लिया। कलयुग को इन स्थानों के मिल जाने के बाद, राजा को दिखाने के लिए कलयुग वंहा से तुरंत चला गया परन्तु कुछ दूर जाने के बाद अद्रश्य रूप में वापस आकर राजा परीक्षत के स्वर्ण मुकुट में आकर निवास करने लगा। इस तरह कलयुग धीरे -धीरे पृथ्वी पर अपना प्रसार करने लगा।

As soon as the place of gold was found, Kalyug made his residence in the golden crown of King Parikshat. After Kalyug found these places, Kalyug immediately went there to show the king, but after some distance, he came back in a ravishing form and came to live in the golden crown of King Parikshat. In this way, Kalyug slowly started spreading on the earth.
